(May 4) Second day in Novosibirsk

Busy day today! We got our wheels! We had an early visit to the bank to get some cash (enough to buy the car), then go to the car dealer to the get the "Машина" (Mashina is the Russian word for car)   (La Maquina for the spanish speakers). After a couple of hours we completed all the paperwork, got insured and brand new registration plates at the road police. We were surprised that everything went so smoothly. Who said there was a lot of bureaucracy in Russia? Well maybe well oiled bureaucracy, we'll keep you posted on that!
We spent the rest of the afternoon buying stuff for the trip.
The other highlight of the day was the first driving in experience in Russia, it wasn't too bad, it probably helped that it was Saturday and there wasn't a lot of traffic.

Checking the Mashina

Turning the wheel of good fortune at the dealership. I hope it works. Note Anna's new hair cut

We have number plates!! Apparently cool one for Russian folk

Making space for the "Stuff"
